Khurram Kureshi

Managing Director

I grew up in a family of Bankers and naturally, that is all I ever aspired to be. However, by the time I was in High School my interests inclined towards Medicine. I went to college with the aim of becoming a Medical Doctor but that changed quickly so I went on to pursue a degree in Computer Sciences. As if all that was not enough, the first job I landed was one of a Resourcer. It was then, at the age of 24, that I found my true calling. For the first time in my life, I was not only good at what I was doing but I was actually enjoying it as well. I have been working in the Offshore Process-Outsourcing Industry since the beginning of 2006. I worked my way up from a Resourcer to a Team Lead to a Resourcing Manager before going my own way and starting my own venture. A couple of years later, it felt too repetitive, too primitive, too dull to continue as it is and therefore, I ended up disbanding the venture. And then it was in 2010, that resourceSmith was born. With new vigor, lots of dreams and hopes, and a clear vision I built this business bit by bit. It was the kind of start-up you read about, ownership, teamwork, progress paired with unparalleled energy and motivation, we were out to conquer the world. From countless nights spent in the office, sleeping on the floor and eating cold leftovers… It has been a journey of 10 absolutely wonderful years. I hope I can continue to do this work with as much joy and passion as I’ve done all these years. I’ve been married to my wonderful wife for over 11 years and I am a father to two absolutely delightful kids, my son Abdullah and my gorgeous daughter Khadija. Without my family, I possibly could not have achieved what I have. Whenever we can make the time, we pack a bag, get in the car and drive for hours to be in the mountains – which is the definition of perfect for me.
